CoffeeCups.com.pl is an e-commerce platform dedicated to premium products for coffee enthusiasts. Although the offering was well structured, the digital experience did not consistently support the commercial objectives. Lack of clarity in communication, navigation issues, and visual inconsistencies negatively impacted user trust and conversion rates.

To address these issues, we conducted a complete UX Audit, followed by strategic interface redesign proposals. The objective was to align the digital experience with the brand promise and optimize the user journey to support purchase decisions.

 

 

 

Identified Issues

 

  1. No Onboarding – Users were immediately directed to a complex interface, without a clear introduction to the platform’s value or its main functionalities.
  2. Visual Inconsistencies – The interface featured UI elements with insufficient contrast, uneven spacing, and unclear visual hierarchies, affecting readability and perceived professionalism.
  3. Unintuitive Navigation – The main menu contained redundant options and lacked logical structure for new users. Additionally, product categories were not efficiently organized.
  4. Unclear Communication of the Offer – Differences between premium and standard packages were not clearly highlighted, leading to distrust and drop-offs on product pages.

 

 

Recommendations and Implemented Solutions

 

  1. Introducing Simplified Onboarding – We proposed an introductory section to highlight the platform’s main benefits, focused on conversion and quick user education.
  2. Standardizing UI Components – A coherent design system was created: color palette, typography, buttons, forms, and other interactive elements. This visual consistency builds trust and improves navigation.
  3. Optimizing Information Architecture – Navigation was restructured based on logical and commercial principles. Product categories were reorganized, and the menu was reduced to clearly labeled essential options.
  4. Clarifying the Commercial Offer – A comparative presentation of available packages was created, using visual elements to support quick understanding and purchase decisions (e.g., comparison grids, visual tags, highlighted benefits).

  • Increased conversion rate due to clearer offerings, optimized navigation, and better-calibrated messaging for users.

  • Reduced bounce rates on key pages, through more effective onboarding and a more coherent design.

  • Improved brand perception through a modern, professional interface adapted to user needs.
